Overview of Holomatrix Interface
Because Holomatrix effects are generated by a combination of scripts and functions, the plug-in needs to be applied with its own custom palette. That palette is pictured below at left. The Holomatrix palette is accessed through the Windows menu, not its Effects menu. Read more about the custom palette on the How it Works page. Read about Holomatrix presets on the Presets page.
Once Holomatrix is applied, its parameters show up in After Effects' Effect Controls panel, just as you expect from a plug-in. There is a list of checkboxes that let you activate or deactivate the associated parameter group. For instance, the Use Glow checkbox activates the Glow Settings group. Read more on the Checkbox Options page.
There is a parameter group tied into most of the checkbox controls. We have a manual page per group that explains each of these settings. The Navigation column (shown to the left of this page) lists those Parameter Groups. There are also two sets of Scaling tools and a Transform group that aren't paired to a checkbox.
