For Mac:

To install for Color Finale & LUT Utility in Final Cut Pro X run the ‘ASCEND for FCP X.pkg’ installer.

To install for DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere CC Pro or to place LUTs in /Applications folder run the ‘ASCEND for macOS.pkg’ installer.

For all others please kindly see your documentation with your software for applying LUTs.  LUTs are extracted in a folder called ‘ASCEND’ so you don’t need to run the installers if you don’t want to.

TROUBLESHOOTING for Mac:

If you have happen to get an ‘Installation Failed’ error when running the ‘ASCEND for FCPX’ you’ve been provided all the files in the zip file and we can perform a manual installation.  Please copy the ASCEND LUTs to the following directories:

LUT Utility:
/Users/_YOUR_USER_NAME_/Movies/Motion Templates/Effects/CGC/LUTUtility

Color Finale:
/Users/_YOUR_USER_NAME_/Movies/Motion Templates/Effects/Color Finale/LUTs

Then restart FCP X to refresh the list.

For Windows:

You’ve been provided a convenient installer .exe to install ASCEND LUTs for DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro CC.  Just follow ALL the prompts in the installer and don’t change the install location.

If for whatever reason the installer fails or you prefer manual installation you can install ASCEND on Windows in the following ways: 

To install for DaVinci Resolve copy the ‘ASCEND LUTs’ folder to:

C:\Program Data\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\LUT

Then restart Resolve if it’s open to refresh the LUT list.

To install for Premiere Pro CC 2015 you can add manually OR copy the LUTs to:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015\Lumetri\LUTs\Technical

To install for Premiere Pro CC 2017 you can add manually OR copy the LUTs to:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017\Lumetri\LUTs\Technical

For all others please kindly see your documentation with your software for applying LUTs.
