Installation Note that Riptide Pro is a completely separate plugin from the free 'Riptide' plugin, so you do not have to remove Riptide in order to use (or try out) Riptide Pro. The new plugin can read the various tags (Group Tag, Region Tag and Export Mask Tag) created by the free Riptide plugin and if you have both installed, the free Riptide will register those tag handler plugins - duplicate plugins are not allowed, so Riptide Pro will not load it's handlers if it sees that they already exist - just use the Riptide tags, if that's the case. Once you have purchased and registered Riptide Pro, then you should probably delete the entire 'Riptide' folder from your plugins, to avoid confusion ('Riptide' is the free plugin folder, 'Riptide Pro' is the new, enhanced, commercial version - the now obsolete free Riptide plugin does not work with any version of Cinema 4D after R11). 1. Copy the zip file into the
"Plugins" folder of your BodyPaint 3D or Cinema
4D installation and unzip it there.
The first time you run Cinema 4D after installation, the registration / serial code dialog will open. If you have already purchased the plugin and have a Riptide Pro serial code, you should enter that in the appropriate slot, otherwise, you can activate the plugin for a 30-day Free Trial by entering "DEMO" (in all caps, but without the quotes). Once the trial period expires, you'll have to purchase the plugin and enter a proper serial / registration code to continue using it. Once you've taken care of the registration code, you'll find the plugin in the "Plugins" menu - see the Features section of the menu on the left for further details. |
